Community Helping Hands exists to help meet the needs of people while showing them the love of Christ as we equip and empower them to help themselves and others.
In 2010, CHH gave away nearly $12,000 in clothing and household items from our Depot Thrift Store and over $15,000 in furniture. These went to needy families in Chautauqua County, who were referred by over 40 different local organizations and churches.
Our Thrift Store and Showrooms are open to the public. A person who cannot afford such essential items may get a referral from an organization or church, make an appointment, and we will issue them a voucher to use in the store, depending on the availability of items.
